I dont have many posts planned cuz im in a huge funk so i decided we'd take a break from my long rants ^^,, todays simple post will be a dump of my favorite Reina Tanaka pics! If youve read my gal inspos post youll know how much I adore this gal! And although her contract likely prevented her from being gal, i still completely feel the gal energy through her hair and codes so here are some of my favs!!

And fin~ I really adore old photos of Reina so i hope through this most more people find a love for her too! She was a huge inspiration for me when i was just starting out with gal and i will continue to support her activities till she retires <3

On a different note, this week was so stressfull! Im in desprate need of a break which is good because i have the 4th off! Just one more week,,,, ;; Tomorrow will also be the first day of the "gyaru camp" thing i described a couple posts ago! Im starting with hair,, where im lacking the most ;; wish me good luck!!

Cozy look & Sad Buyee experience ;;

 Yo!!

Hows everyone doing~ Enoying your weekend? I sure am ;; Its been actually heaven being free for a couple days. Since i was really excited to have time to myself i tried some make that was completely outside my comfort zone! It was super fun to try out even if i didnt really like the look on myself <3

This look went along with a super special gloomy bear kigu get!! So excited to have recived this, its so so comfy and really adorable!

Overall it was a super comfy and fun look! Its hard to get outside my comfort zone, but ive felt so stuck with my talents regarding my everyday make and figured the best way to get out of a stump is to try new things. I think testing this different look out helped me learn a little and hopefully grow!

Ive honestly been thinking about doing a weekly blogging challenge, centered around me learning a new gal thing. After the gyaru com created the gal key points chart i realized how much i lacked in alot of areas, especially hair and codes. I wanted to base the challenge on learning one of the gal points each week (excluding tan and nails because i dont tan and i buy nails) So one week would be me following a gal hair tutorial and another week would be me finding the perfect code for one point piece. I feel like it would really help me improve in the areas where i lack! Let me know what you think about this!

On a sadder note... www

Around a month or more ago i purchased my dream Liz Lisa purse, it was cheap, description read that there were only two black stains and photos comfirmed two small black smears. I was so excited and bought right away. Waited a little and it had arrived!!

But to my poor dismay the bag was in the worst possible condition. It was extremely damaged and the bag it was shipped in was COVERED in ripped off pleather from the bag. Heart broken ;; The seller had around 400 good reviews and not a single bad or medium review, i honestly have no idea what happened but i felt i wanted to share that buying older bags such as liz lisa from seccond hand sites like buying is really risky! these gyaru brand bags are most often pleather and wear themselfs out so incredibly fast!

Pain pain pain ;; But im greatfull that the keychain is in great shape and can be reused! The key is honestly 50% why i got it in the first place, but take my tale as a caution wwww

WOOO! Long post today! I was really excited to have this much time on my hands :DD But i wanted to know what yall think about my weekly challenge idea? Im planning to start next weekend with hair! Im excited for it, and hope it helps me improve along with advice from the gal com and you guys! but woow i slept so long but still manage to be so tired ;; hope everyone had an amazing saturday!

Thank you so much for reading my lovely gals and readers! What gal key point do you excell in?

Gal 109 Blog Challenge

 Yo!

Welcome back friends!! I am so so drained today and couldnt find it in me to get all dressed up and pretty for a post D: But I decided I could try out this super fun blogging challenge thats been very popular amongst my fellow gaijin gals! You can find the origional here if youd also like to participate~ Gyaru 109 Month ~ Event

I also got my 2nd dose today!! woop woop! My arm hurts a ton rn but the outcome will be worth it~ anyways! lets get down to it.

Name / Gyaru nickname and country

Hello! I am cherri from the U.S! specifically Socal~

Since when are you gyaru?

I have been actively dressing and practicing gal since january of this year!

How did you discover the style?

I discovered gal through Rina Fujimoto one of the many Idolm@ster ladies I produce!

What's your current substyle? Why do you like it?

My current substyle is flequating between himekaji and Ane gyaru. I love himekaji because its the perfect mix of cutesy and bohemian that i adore! Im a sucker for flower patterns and color palletes consiting of nudes, whites, and pinks. I fell for Ane recently because I realized how confident dressing in it made me feel, the style is alot easier to dress compared to himekaji and is perfect for busy days and days where i dont have much time to do my hair.

What are your current booms?

My current  booms consist of my melody, hot pink hair, tote bags, purikura dates, grey contacts, leopard print, oversized sweaters, uggs, shushus, blinged flip phones, and jewelash

Share 2 of your fav codes. Why do you like them so much?

I love this code because its very cozy!! It could use ALOT more bling and decoration though, im thinking a belt and lots of bracletes to make it more gal!

I like this code alot because i was really struggling to find something to match this dress! I decided to bring out the pale pink in the champane print and incorprate white from the polka dots! This code could use hair accesories, bigger hair, and better jewrly, but i really love it and cant wait to revamp it sometime! (also nails)

Share 3 things your learned during your Gyaru journey.

My gyaru journey taught me alot, the most important being that hidding yourself and your hobbies away from the world really harms your mental health and livelyness. Practicing gyaru outside of the comfort of my house really improved my confidence and happiness. I learned that being different in a suburban town isnt as scary as i made it out to be! People are usually just curious about something different, and even if they are being rude screw them!! Lastly gyaru taught me the importance of community. I struggled for months feeling like i was going in circles unable to improve my makeup and gyaru energy, that was until i joined a gyaru discord and found the most loving, helpful, and genuine community. Without goining some sort of com its incredibly hard to improve, because improvement is easier to achieve when others can help point out what you could do right.

Share 3 gaijin gals and 3 Japanese gals you look up to.

The gaijins i most look up too and are incredibly responsible for my growth and interest in gyaru are: @/georgie_piyo @hellolizziebee and the lovely (retired) @emiriichu. I look up to these gals a ton and based alot of my style off of their advice, blogs, and videos! they were extremely helpful as all their advice and resources were english and catered to gaijin gals with simular facial features to mine! As for japanese gals I fell in love with Sakurina, Satomin Yukawa, and current egg model Erika! these gals have amazing looks that really inspire me to improve! I love being able to see their own growth and how theyve improved across their gyaru years as well!

What's your favorite Gyaru memory?

While i dont have many gyaru memories my favorite has to be going to little tokyo for my birthday and getting to do some purikura with my mom! Alot of my friends are far away and unavaliable so my birthday was spent alone, but my amazing single mother decided to take me out to little tokyo so i could shop and get all dressed up! I had such a good time wearing gyaru brand out and buying dolly wink lashes. I managed to drag her to to take some purikura with me and had a blast. Im truly greatful to have a mother who supports my hobbies and style 100%

What would do advice to people who want to start in the style but doesn't have the courage yet?

For those who want to start gyaru but are filled with worry and doubt. I feel you! heck i was you back in 2020, but you have to think about why you want to do gyaru. Can you feel that this is something your meant to do? Something that you can see yourself years from now still doing? If you go out and feel like something is missing and that you really really would love to be gyaru in that moment, you have to go for it. Even if its nerve wrecking to dress so eye catching in public, you will def regret never trying it. Join the community for advice and help so that you dont feel so alone!

Woooo!! Were done~ This was such a fun activity!! I really enjoyed this, so if you havent already give this challenge a try!! Its so late now ;; and my arm is feeling like hell so this section will be shorter than usual <3

Thank you so much for reading!! See you guys on the weekend with a new look <3
